Courts Uphold Accuracy of Optotraffic Equipment - November 7, 2011
Two Maryland District Courts upheld the accuracy of Optotraffic equipment in late October.
A company whose drivers had accumulated multiple tickets in a school zone sought to have the tickets dismissed because photos did not show speeding. His argument was dismissed by two judges who understood that the violations were not measured by cameras, but by laser sensors.
The cameras were only used to record the license plates of vehicles that were speeding. To see more information about this click here.
